Synopsis

Klippel-Trenaunay syndrome is also known as hemangiectatic hypertrophy or angio-osteohypertrophy syndrome. Typically, excessive growth of the soft tissues, venous malformations, and port-wine stains (capillary malformations) are seen early in this disease. Additionally, some individuals with Klippel-Trenaunay syndrome have one limb that is longer and larger than the other limb. The syndrome is most frequently diagnosed in infancy or early childhood.
