Derm Resident Works Up Growing Spot on Woman's Cheek with VisualDx

melanoma_3473.jpgA dermatology resident at UConn tells us about a patient who showed up with a dark spot on her cheek and how VisualDx was used to diagnose.

"70f presents with a dark round discoloration on her right cheek that appears to have been getting larger over the past 6 months. She resides in Florida and spends a lot of time in the sun. We used visualdx and diagnosed her with melanoma."
