Scaly Plaque on Swimmer’s Feet – Let’s Diagnose

A 21-year-old student noticed a white scaly plaque developing on the bottoms of both feet. He is an avid swimmer, competing for his college team during the school year and also hitting his local pool over the summer. One foot was beginning to show some deep skin fissures. (Not pictured.) Both feet are very itchy.
