VisualDx Helps Med Student With Patient's Torso Rash

mononucleosis.jpgSohum P., a medical student at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine, turned to VisualDx when he saw a patient with an upper torso rash.

"Patient is a 31 yr old Mexican male who presented with an upper torso rash. Patient was treated with amoxicillin 4 days ago for presumed streptococcal pharyngitis. Mono was suspected and VisualDx provided excellent photographic support to aid in the clinical support for mono spot test to be done."
