Synopsis

Swollen lymph tissue in the upper airway between the nose and the back of the throat. Patients with enlarged adenoids often breathe through their mouth because their nose is blocked. They may also have sleep problems (restlessness, snoring, sleep apnea), persistent rhinorrhea or nasal congestion, and frequent ear infections.
