Synopsis

Electrocardiographic finding of a regular supraventricular tachycardia due to a reentry circuit that involves an accessory atrioventricular pathway, generally presenting as episodic palpitations of sudden onset, although presyncope / syncope, shortness of breath, or chest pain may also be present. A rapid or irregular heartbeat may be observed in the neck or chest. Other findings include dizziness, fatigue, and diaphoresis.
