An original study by Cutis surveyed dermatology residents in America at different levels of residency and found that VisualDx was the most-used mobile app, with 84% of respondents saying they use it daily.
The 3 primary reasons for using apps were:
- diagnosis and workup (83%)
- medication dosage (72%)
- self-education (69%)
