Lizzie Stevens

Board Member

Lizzie Stevens is an MD/MPH candidate at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences College of Medicine with interests in dermatology, medical education, and improving access to dermatologic care.

Lizzie is passionate about advancing dermatology education for both medical trainees and the broader community. She has authored multiple educational publications focused on the presentation, diagnosis, and management of dermatologic conditions across more richly pigmented skin tones, with the goal of improving recognition of skin disease in all patient populations. She has also helped develop an online skin of color dermatology curriculum for medical students to increase exposure to various clinical presentations early in medical training.

Her commitment to education extends into the community, where she has led outreach initiatives teaching elementary, middle, and high school students in Arkansas about sun safety, skin cancer prevention, and healthy skin practices. She also volunteers with Harmony Health, a free clinic serving her community, where she helps coordinate dermatology services for underserved patients.

Through the VisualDx Student Advisory Board, Lizzie hopes to continue promoting inclusive medical education and resources that strengthen diagnostic confidence across all patient populations.
