Reagan Scott

Reagan Scott is a second-year medical student at Texas A&M Naresh K. Vashisht College of Medicine. Originally from Texas, she earned her bachelor’s degree in Biology from Prairie View A&M University and competed as a Division I scholarship athlete in women’s soccer, securing a conference championship and leading her team to the NCAA tournament during her collegiate career.

Her passion for dermatology developed after working as a medical assistant in a dermatology practice during her gap year, where she became interested in skin of color. Currently, Reagan serves on the officer board of the Texas A&M Dermatology Interest Group and as a Liaison for S.T.R.A.N.D. (Stylists Training, Researching, and Networking with Dermatologists), coordinating workshops where dermatologists train hair stylists to recognize early signs of hair loss and scalp conditions. She also leads a community health walk initiative called Walk With A Doc, where she educates the community on various health topics, including skin cancer.

Her clinical and research interests include skin of color, scarring alopecias, and rural dermatology. As a member of the VisualDx Student Advisory Board, Reagan is excited to help advance diagnostic equity and improve representation in dermatology.
