A mother brought her 7-month old to the pediatrician after discovering widespread red, scaly papules on her hands, feet, and diaper area. The baby had been crying more than usual, especially at night, and was feeding poorly, which led her mother to guess the rash was bothering her. Looking closely, the doctor noticed a small linear burrow near the baby’s wrist. Two other babies at the same daycare had reported similar symptoms.
