If you have an active VisualDx subscription, you may be eligible to earn CME credits through your everyday use of VisualDx.

How CME Works

CME credits are earned automatically through regular use of VisualDx, including:

  • Searching for diagnoses
  • Building a differential diagnosis

To earn and claim CME credits, you must be signed in with a personal VisualDx account. Your credits are automatically tracked and stored in your account over time.

Individual Subscribers

If you purchased an individual VisualDx subscription, you already have a personal account. Simply sign in and use VisualDx as part of your clinical workflow to begin accruing CME credits.

Institutional Subscribers

If your organization provides access to VisualDx, you can create a personal VisualDx account that is linked to your institutional access. A personal account is required to earn, track, and claim CME credits.

Claiming Your CME Credits

When you’re ready to claim credits:

  1. Sign in to your personal VisualDx account.
  2. Navigate to CME Home within your account.
  3. Follow the prompts to complete and submit your CME activity.
  4. Specify the type of clinical inquiry and how the activity affected your knowledge or patient care.
  5. Generate and print your CME certificate as needed.

Note: Per AMA CME guidelines, activities marked as having “No Impact” on knowledge or patient care cannot be claimed for CME credit and will be marked for deletion.

Important

  • You must have a personal VisualDx account linked to your subscription or institutional access to earn and claim CME credits.
  • CME credits are accrued automatically through normal use of VisualDx.
  • Credits remain associated with your account and are stored over time.
  • Only claim credits for activities completed in a clinical setting at the point of care.
