ROCHESTER, NY [JULY 31, 2020]- VisualDx, a web-based clinical decision support system headquartered in Rochester, NY announced today a partnership with the Asian Medical Student Association (AMSA) INDIA to enhance medical education in India and beyond.

Through this partnership, VisualDx is providing free access to AMSA-INDIA members through the end of September. AMSA-INDIA is part of AMSA International, an organization that represents medical students from across the Asia-Pacific and beyond. AMSA provides enrichment for future doctors from 24 national and regional chapters from Asia and around the world. Medical students value VisualDx for its world-renowned medical image library (40,000+ curated images that span the Fitzpatrick scale, disease stage, age range, body location and more), smart search technology when researching a disease, and exam prep.

“Practicing medicine with technology starts by learning with technology,” said Art Papier, MD, CEO of VisualDx, “We are excited to team up with AMSA-India to prepare tomorrow’s clinicians with tools needed to provide the best patient care possible.”

“William Osler once said ‘Medicine is a science of uncertainty and an art of probability.’ Said  Khushman Kaur Bhullar, Vice Overall Chairperson External of AMSA-INDIA. “With the ever-evolving innovation in medicine, we have been able to bring the diagnoses to a higher level of certainty than before. We, at AMSA-INDIA, work with a vision of Knowledge, Action, & Friendship and are delighted to partner with VisualDx, a wonderfully unique platform.”
