A 60-year-old woman visited her primary care physician after noticing an irregular area of atrophy that was developing on her upper back. It was white, surrounded by a red border. The lesion was sometimes pruritic, but mostly didn’t bother her. She had noticed a second lesion forming in her genital area and was concerned it would continue to grow in size.
Could it be tinea versicolor? Morphea? Lichen sclerosus? Anetoderma?
