At VisualDx, we’re committed to continuously expanding and refining our clinical content to help healthcare professionals stay informed and deliver confident patient care. Our August content release includes 3 new diagnoses, expanded dermatology and infectious disease content, and more globally relevant patient education materials, supporting better-informed clinical decision-making across a wide range of care settings.
Here is what we focused on:
- Updated Text and Imagery Across Key Diagnoses: Updated clinical content and expanded image collections across several diagnoses, including melanoma, rosacea, injection site reaction and arthropod bites and stings.
- Newsworthy Infectious Disease Updates: We’re keeping pace with emerging public health threats, with content updates on Ebola, mpox, Marburg Filoviridae virus infection, measles, dengue fever, and New World screwworm, helping clinicians stay current with the latest surveillance data and clinical guidance.
- Travel Medicine and Tropical Disease Updates: Reviewed and updated content for a range of neglected tropical diseases and travel-related infections, including lymphatic filariasis, yaws, loiasis, cysticercosis, chikungunya, and multiple forms of leishmaniasis, including cutaneous leishmaniasis and mucosal leishmaniasis.
- Expanded Global Patient Handouts: Patient handout statistics were reviewed and updated from U.S.- only to global figures where possible, improving relevance for international audiences.
